Experience artistry, history, and a friendly welcome

Visitors Center

We are proud to share the resplendent beauty of our historic building and Tiffany stained glass windows with visitors from around the world. Between June and October, volunteers operate a Visitors Center offering self-guided tours with an audio guide. The Center is typically open on Fridays from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Otherwise, self-guided tours are sometimes available while the church office is open, generally Monday through Friday between 10:30 am and 5:30 pm. Please enter through the downstairs door at 351 Boylston Street. Since Arlington Street is an active congregation, we are occasionally closed for special events and services. To confirm availability for a specific date, please contact us.

Admission Cost

Admission is $5 per person, which includes a detailed brochure for the self-guided tour. There is no charge for children under 12 accompanying a paying adult.

Additional donations to support our preservation efforts are always welcome. We rely on the generosity of visitors to sustain this 164-year-old landmark. Thank you!

Private Tours

If you are visiting with a group or interested in a custom tour experience, please contact us for information on private tour fees and availability. Please include the potential dates of your visit and the number of people in your party.

Global Visitors

We love to welcome visitors from across the world to Arlington Street Church! Our detailed Visitors Guide is available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian and French.

UU Coming of Age Group Tours

We’re always honored to welcome visiting Unitarian Universalist groups to Arlington Street! If you are planning a trip, please let us know! Groups are always invited to join our Sunday services at 11:00 am.

We also offer tours of our historic church for visiting UU groups. Coming of Age tours learn about the history of Unitarianism in America, view our historic sanctuary filled with breathtaking Tiffany stained glass windows, hear our majestic Aeolian-Skinner organ, and climb the bell tower to play the hand-rung bells.

Tours run for 1.5 to 2 hours and cost $200 (or $260 for groups of 20 people or more). Advance reservations are required. Please contact our Director of Music, Mark David Buckles to schedule your tour.
